Question by .: Why did everyone criticize Ken Park's sex scenes more than the violent ones?

I actually thought the sex scenes were done very tastefully considering everything else in the movie. I even thought the sex scene at the end of the movie was quite beautiful. I saw it completely as a means of those teens finding affection and tenderness from each other because they had no one else to give it to them. It was the scenes of violence that disgusted me. I don't understand why people didn't make more of an issue with the murder of the grandparents and the suicide scene of ken park.

I loved! Ken Park, I think the reason that a lot of people were disgusted by the sex scene's were that they involved a lot of teen sex, especially with adults which is something to be looked down upon. Now we all know that those "kids" were all over 18 otherwise they wouldn't be able to do the film, but the scene's with the teen/teen I thought was absolutely fine, it was not vulgar in anyway.. it was just exploration, especially the last scene.
