Answer by Emilee J I think it is just the fact that there is less of a distraction. It may not be as big of a deal at younger ages, but I am pretty sure many hour are spent looking at, flirting with, making out with, holding hands with the opposite sex as you get into teen years. There is all the drama of having a boy/girlfriend and by going to school with only same sex there is less distracrtion and it is easier to focus on your education.
